hi my lovely little hamster (lenny ) died yesterday im gutted he was only a year old and the most loving little thing ever i had took him to vet cause his bum got quite big i know that sound stupit i was told nothing was wrong but im sure there was and only 3 weeks later he's gone was i right and the vet was wrong im just so curious cause i miss him could someone get back to me if they have seen or heard of this problem ,thankyou x

I'm very sorry to hear about your hamster :sigh  
As for whether the vet was right or wrong, it's hard to say. The vet must have thought that there was nothing visibly wrong with your hamster but there might have been something internal that no one could have been able to spot. 
 
If something happens again with another hamster and you go to the vet get them to explain to you why they think nothing is wrong, just so you're satisified that they've taken enough time to examine your hamster properly. 
 
Again, I'm very sorry to hear about your pet hamster :sigh
