:? I just bought my boys each a hampster. I guess we didn't seperate them soon enough because I think we are having babbies. I don't know what to do. Is their anything I should do? She has her own cage now.

when your hammies gave birth keep it in silent n peace room for about 2 week..do not touch the pups before it at least 2 weeks old..when the pups is at 8 days old you should gave it a piece of apple to keep it from dehydrated...

Great care must be taken when you handle the female and it is best not to handle her unless its an emergency. In the later stages of pregnancy its a good idea to give her some milk, either like runny porridge or bread soaked in milk. Giving a few extra sunflower seeds before the birth can also help milk production. Two days before the babies are due to be born the females cage should be cleaned an provide her with plenty of extra bedding to make her nest. After she had given birth the cage shouldn't be cleaned until the hamster pups are two weeks old. Hope I helped, Amylulu :)
