Maybe you should put something around the cage so all she or he sees is black. so when she is awake in the day she or he thinks it's night time

talk softly by its cage if it makes a squeking noise i think it means it is stressed out

thats how a hamster is sopposed to act q way to see him is each day at the same time of day take him out to play soon he'll start looking foward to it and he'll start wakeing up early for it!!!!!! hope it helped!!!!!!!!
