So, you think your hamster may be pregnant?  You either meant this to happen, or you had no clue in the first place!  The latter is more common than you think, particularly if you bought a hamster from a pet store without knowing the sex.  She may even have come home already bearing a little surprise for you, and you were none the wiser.  If you plan on breeding hamsters, stick around for the next section where we’ll discuss breeding in detail.

I Think My Hamster Is Pregnant. How Can I Be Sure?
It’s very hard to tell just by looking at her as, even though she does gain weight, it isn’t always that noticeable.  However, her behavior around the cage will change markedly.  You’ll notice her hoarding much more food than before, and activity such as digging will increase dramatically around her nest.  You may also notice that she’s a bit more skittish than usual – this is normal, and the best thing to do is to leave her be.

My Sapphire was always sweet, but the last day or so she has been dragging her snuggle stuff into her tube and she sort od growled at me like a lion. I don't know if she is pregnat I have only had her for two weeks. She loves shredding and the other female I got was very mean to her she seems to have bond more with her "brother" Diego do you think she has run away to have a litter. She has always been very active and I try stimulate her without acctully invading her space to much. I know much more about guinea pigs; Hamsters seem soooooo complex.

:roll is my hamster pregnant??
Her petting zone is filled almost to the brim with food.
She dug a nest and digs a lot but bites on the bars more...
She might be skittish, not really..she does bite but she's still sweet
she is kind of chubby
